Y Consti for parties and events. Whether it’s a children’s party, private function or themed event, Y Consti makes for a brilliant time. Take the train up Constitution Hill, then party to your hearts content, filling up on glorious sunsets and happy memories.

Children’s parties

Y Consti is perfect for childrens parties and special events. We have two fun, daytime childrens party packages to choose from, Little sheep from £10 per head, and Red dragon from £14.

With all the attractions Y Consti has to offer, there’s enough fun and games for big grins all round.

Little sheep party package – £10 per head:

Return travel on the railway
Choice of either indoor 10 pin bowling or a round of miniature golf
Use of a separate room for food and cake
Order a hot meal from our kids menu
Jugs of squash supplied
Please feel free to bring your own birthday cake and the child’s choice of decorations

Red dragon party package – £14 per head:

As above, but with a full kids party buffet replacing the kids menu hot meal

Private functions

With a variety of catering options available, at Y Consti we are more than happy to work with you to create a night to remember.

The restaurant seats 100 guests in the main room, with a separate room seating 25 guests also available. We can provide arrival drinks and table wines by prior arrangement, and our well-stocked bar is availbale for all evening functions.

Dining options range from simple one course buffet options, comprehensive hot buffet menus with optional dessert courses, through to seated 3 course meals, with traditional, regional, themed, gluten free to vegetarian or vegan menus all available. Please note, there can be no outside provision of food or alcohol on the premises, although an exception is made for celebration cakes only.

There is no room hire fee and complimentary return travel on the railway is included for all guests. However, we do ask that all guests are informed that event access is via the funicular railway only. We regret that we are unable to accept room only event bookings.

For private functions we also provide a family friendly event space, where children can use the bowling alley free of charge for the evening, so both the big and little kids can enjoy the event!

Themed events

Who doesn’t love a themed event?

Y Consti hosts a fair few themed events throughout the year, so if you are looking for the perfect place to host your own special event, please don’t hesitate to give us a call.

One of our main events is our annual themed evening – Hakaribbean. The Caribbean themed evening has been a sell-out event with us, featuring Steel Drummers and Consti Rum Punch on arrival.

This is followed by a three course Caribbean themed taster menu, including Chef’s Jerk Chicken. The event concluding with a stellar performance by the UK’s premier UB40 tribute act, Ultimate 40.

All our themed events come with complimentary return travel on the railway, and although we can’t guarantee it, hopefully some sun on the sea to give it a real Caribbean feel!

We are currently planning future similar but different events so watch this space!

Event entertainment

What event would be complete without entertainment?

Here at Y Consti there is very little we haven’t seen in terms of event entertainment – we have had live music, discos, magicians, comedians and even a rodeo bull!

When planning your event, we can supply contact details for DJ’s, bands and acts that have worked with us in the past, however, it will be your responsibility to book any entertainment yourself.

We are happy to provide music through our PA system; though this would be a set playlist, and there would be no provision for making requests.

Christmas at Y Consti

At Y Consti parties and events get no bigger than at Christmas.

We do love Christmas up here on the hill, so throughout December, the restaurant and railway is open for festive parties.

During this time, we offer private booking of the main party room (minimum guest numbers apply) but we also have availability for party nights with smaller separate group dining, so whether you are a group of 20 or 100, we will do our best to accommodate you.

Our kitchen team work hard to create a new and exciting festive menu every year, ensuring that we provide suitable meals for special dietary requirements. We are always happy to cater to guests with food allergies and intolerances; working with our guests so they can be confident that their meal is suitable for their needs.
